Nursing Home Bookkeeper Sentenced For Theft

A nursing home bookkeeper has been sentenced for theft of five residents at the nursing home where she worked. The money was taken from the residents trust funds in the amount of $1,836.17. She wrote checks to herself and forged the signature of the nursing home administrator. 

The former bookkeeper made the checks appear as reimbursements for needs of the nursing home patients. She was sentenced to five years in prison. For more, read the story
