Nursing Home Care Causes Change In Patient Behavior

The son of a nursing home patient has filed a lawsuit for the lack of care provided to his mother while in the nursing home.  The patient was admitted for rheumatoid arthritis issues, but during her stay, her condition deteriorated. Her behavior began to change as she began to ramble and wonder the hallways incoherently.

Her son said he was shocked at the change in her just a month after she had been admitted. “I go into her room, and I find her completely naked,” he recalled. “She was completely zonked out of her mind.” His attorney noted that the conditions of the nursing home were that of a third world country.  For more, read the story.
