A nursing home care giver is being offered a 5-10 year split sentence for theft from a nursing home patient. She was convicted of stealing thousands of dollars from the woman.
She was also accused and acquitted of second degree murder for giving the patient a fatal dose of insulin. However, it seems she will soon be out of jail and on probation with her imminent release. For more, read the story.
