Nursing Home Caregiver And Daughter Arrested For Theft Of Nursing Home Patient

A nursing home caregiver and her daughter committed theft of a nursing home patient. The nursing home caregiver conned the man into giving her money apparently saying she would pay him back. The incremental “loan” amounts totaled more than $60,000. The man began asking questions to other workers, which led to an investigation.

“The victim in the case did ask another employee of the nursing home what should be done if someone owed him money and wouldn’t pay him back,” said a police detective. The nursing home worker and her daughter have been charged with theft since the daughter cashed the checks for her mother. For more, read the story.
