Nursing Home Caregiver Faces Abuse Charges

A nursing home caregiver has been charged with two misdemeanors for abuse of a man suffering from dementia. The caregiver allegedly yelled at the man and hit him. She also bathed him roughly while hitting his legs. Two nursing assistants witnessed the abuse and reported it. 

Police are investigating the incident currently. If found guilty, the nurse will face up to 2 years in prison and a fine of up to $6,000. For more, read the story
