A nurse is on probation after neglecting to follow nursing home policy when a patient in her care fell. The nurse was bathing the patient when he fell in the shower. He suffered abrasions on his back. The patient did not receive any medical attention at the time of the fall.
The nurse did not report the fall to her supervising nurse, nor did she fill out an incident report. She wrote a statement saying that nothing happened when the patient was under her care. For more, read the story.
