Nursing Home CEO Home Raided For Items With Search Warrant

The home of a nursing home CEO was recently searched under warrant. Allegations related to the search are currently unknown, however, employees of the FBI, IRS and Office of the Inspector General all participated in the search. The CEO oversees a large nursing home chain of about 100 facilities.

The company over the chain paid penalties of $376,432 after being accused of employing caregivers with criminal backgrounds and lost licenses. Items confiscated during the raid included papers and folders. The search warrant was conducted under the FBI unit that searches for fraud, waste and abuse. For more, read the story
