The attorney general in one state is alleging that a nationwide nursing home facility owner is short-staffing its facilities to increase profit. Nursing homes can withhold staffing to dangerously low patient to caregiver ratios for the sake of decreasing payroll and increasing the bottom line of profit. The attorney general is aggressively stating that the company is falsely advertising its care to the public.
