A nursing home cited for “actual harm in the areas of quality of care and nursing services,” may lose its Medicare certification soon if it does not reverse the lack of quality care based on a state department of health survey. The nursing home allowed some individuals to be harmed while leaving others in “immediate jeopardy”.
The facility was fined $9,591 for the immediate jeopardy citation and $2,353 daily for other citations after that. For more, read the story.
