Nursing Home Cited Again

A nursing home with a history of citations has been cited again. Past citations included short-staffing, where one nurse was left with 34 patients and a patient left in bed with a broken leg for 26 hours before being taken to the hospital. The facility was fined $33,031 for the broken leg incident.

The most recent citation involves failure to provide a dignified environment for the patients. Patients said the caregivers were making fun of them in foreign languages and withholding activities. For more, read the story
