Nursing Home Cited For Immediate Jeopardy Crisis Situation

A nursing home where a patient previously died from infection is considered to be in a crisis situation. The facility has been reviewed through the process of a four-day onsite inspection. The inspection report has not yet been released, but it was determined that the nursing home was in immediate jeopardy.

A family member of a patient that died says she is disappointed in the way the care was handled for him. She saw his condition worsening before he died and asked several questions regarding his care with no answer. She is now advocating for better care at the nursing home facility.
