A nursing home is being sued in a class action lawsuit after a law firm identified seven patients who died at the home due to alleged neglect and abuse. The law firm already represented two additional patients and their families. However, the other families rose to the surface as the investigation was underway.
Some of the incidents are extreme. One case involves a woman who was neglected for so long that maggots infested her ears. A family member had to call EMS because the facility would not. For more, read the story.
