A nursing home facility's Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) was charged with sexual assault of a patient on 11 counts. The CNA was found sexually assaulting a patient while in the bathroom. The patient was able to press a call button in the bathroom to call another nurse. Another CNA came and found the patient being assaulted.
The CNA admitted to various acts of sexual abuse in court. The CNA pleaded guilty on all 11 counts of violent sexual abuse and several counts of willful violation of public health law and public lewdness. For more, read the story.
