A nursing home that has been ranked as one of the top 20 most cited nursing homes is struggling to raise its reputation. With a history of citations and flags from the state health department the past reputation as well as current care still have a long way to go. Former patients and staff have less than positive clients to say.
“He had me come pick him up because he was scared he was going to die and he called me crying and begging,” one patient's son said of his father. “I've told people, if you do not like your family member, that would be the place to send them,” said a former certified nursing assistant, who left the facility.
