A nursing home is being held responsible for the death of a patient after numerous care issues arose. The patient was admitted to the nursing home and while there suffered from dehydration, falls, bed sores, and malnourishment. After multiple falls, the bed sores developed leading to MRSA and a necessary hospitalization.
Upon being hospitalized, the patient soon thereafter died from his injuries. The family is suing the nursing home for damages and wrongful death. Another lawsuit was also filed for another patient prior to this case. For more, read the story.
