Nursing Home Death Toll Rises To 14

The death toll has risen from 12 to 14 in the ongoing scrutiny over a nursing home that recently closed its doors. The nursing home was found to be negligent in its care after the rescue of patients suffering heat without power or air conditioning in the facility. Power loss occurred as a result of a hurricane. 

The patients who most recently died as a result of the loss of power were 90-year-old and 95-year-old females. For more, read the story
