Nursing Home Employee Arrested and Charged after Police Investigation of Patient Abuse

Police arrested a nursing home employee recently following the allegations of patient abuse and neglect. According to a report, security cameras in the nursing home facility may have caught the alleged abuse on tape. The police have been investigating this facility for weeks after the facility supposedly self-reported the alleged abuse.

The facility employee, and at least one other, is accused of patient abuse. At this time, only one employee has been formally charged. The charges include battery of a disabled victim by a caregiver, battery of an endangered adult, battery provocation, and criminal confinement. For more, read the story.
