A former nursing home employee has filed a lawsuit against the nursing home where she worked. The employee accused a the nursing home of failure to report sexual assault of a patient by another employee. The nurse said she was fired after reporting the failure.
The state investigated the incident and found a nurse assaulted a patient who was wheelchair bound. The patient told the nurse who reported it, but the facility failed to follow through. For more, read the story.
