A nursing home employee was arrested after allegations were made that a nurse at the facility stole prescription painkillers meant for patients. The value of the drugs stolen equated to $1,500. The man was charged with theft of more than $2,500.
“It was discovered by nursing home staff that an employee of the home had been intercepting prescription deliveries and stealing hydrocodone tablets from patient’s deliveries,” said the police sargeant. For more, read the story.
