Nursing Home Employee Confesses To Assaulting Patient

A nursing home employee pleaded guilty to assaulting a nursing home patient. The patient was assaulted but could not identify the perpetrator by name, although she knew it was a nursing home employee. A police investigation and forensics led to a nursing assistant on staff as the attacker.

The nursing home employee was charged by a grand jury with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and official misconduct. He will serve five years in jail and will be required to register as a sex offender upon release. For more, read the story
