Nursing Home Employee In Jail After Taking Medication from Residents to Sell to Inmates

According to police, a nursing home employee was arrested on Thursday for allegedly buying Oxycodone that he planned to distribute to inmates at the county jail. The man was taken into custody outside the nursing home and charged with sale and possession of a controlled substance.

The man worked in the nursing home’s laundry room and had regular contact with inmates from the nearby prison who are allowed to work in the nursing home. The nursing home was next door to the county jail and the sheriff’s office. For more, read the story.
