Nursing Home Employee Pleads Guilty To Embezzlement Charges

 A nursing home employee has pleaded guilty to charges of embezzlement totaling more than $80,000. The employee was siphoning money from the patient's payments through an operations account. She then forged checks to herself with the signatures of patients under the guise of payment for activities, dinner outings, and small events. 

The former financial overseer now faces up to 20 years in federal prison for the crime. She has agreed to repay the amount stolen as part of a plea deal. For more, read the story
