Nursing Home Employee Sentenced For Theft Of Patients

A nursing home worker has been sentenced to prison and to pay fines in a theft case. The nursing home employee was accused of stealing several patients' debit cards. She also stole a patient's diamond ring with an estimated value of $3,000.

The worker will serve one year in prison with one year suspended. The fines include full restitution to the victims, as well as $250 to the Crime Victim Compensation Fund and $250 to the Office of the Attorney General. For more, read the story
