A nursing home employee sued a nursing home for breach of confidentiality. The lawsuit was awarded in favor of the employee by the jury. The nursing home still does not concede wrongdoing even though the jury deliberated for only one hour to come to a unanimous decision on the verdict.
The employee was asked to fill out multiple job applications and submit multiple records of her driver’s license and social security card. The employee filed the suit after being fired for discusses concerns with the administrator of the home. For more, read the story.
