Three nursing home staff members were arrested after their abusive actions were captured on video. The 92-year-old patient who was being abused and harassed became hostile with his family after entering and residing in a nursing home. The family grew concerned after the man repeatedly accused the nursing staff of abusing him. Upon multiple complaints the family placed a camera at the end of the patient’s bed without the knowledge of facility staff or administration.
After four days, the man’s family retrieved the video and watched their loved receive abuse and bullying by three staff members. The video was immediately shown to administration at the building who fired the staff right away. Later police were brought in to investigate. Staff were told to watch the video prompting apologies.
