Nursing Home Employees Charged With Abuse Of Dementia Patient

A third nursing home employee has been charged with restraining a dementia patient with duct tape. Two other employees were charged for duct taping the patient to restrain her. The third patient was arrested at an airport upon return to the area.

She was identified to have witnessed the incident and failed to stop the actions or report them to administration. The employee was charged with elder neglect. The duct tape was used to quiet the patient and hold her in a chair. For more, read the story.
