Nursing Home Employees Charged With Stealing Money from Residents

Two former nursing home employees were placed on probation and ordered to pay back money they stole from the nursing home’s residents. The two employees each appeared for sentencing earlier this week.

Both women plead guilty to prosecutor’s information for single counts of theft, a fifth-degree felony. Each woman was placed on probation under community control for five years and ordered to pay a sum of nearly $3,000 in restitution. According to court documents, the thefts took place from April 3, 2009 to April 8, 2009. For more, read the story.
