A news station investigated nursing homes in one state after finding the collective facilities were rated an “F” overall. The investigation revealed that almost 30 deaths were attributed to neglect of quality care in the related homes. From malnutrition to C. diff, medication errors, bedsore, and lack of CPR training.
Only three other states fall below this one in rankings. “To know that there’s almost 30 cases of wrongful death contributed to negligence or abuse, it’s very disturbing,” said the director for Families for Better Care.
