Nursing Home Facility Fined $90,000 Works Through Plan Of Correction

A nursing home facility has worked hard to open its doors after closing them to new admissions. State officials fined the facility $90,000 over a period of 18 months. Incidents leading to the fines included pressure ulcers which ended severely for one patient with a toe amputation. 

The facility made a plan of correction approved by the state.  With the plan, the nursing home was able to work through the issues. For more, read the story
