Nursing Home Facility Receives Fines

Two nursing home facilities have been cited for numerous violations at a level of AA and A. The AA level means an error or omission caused a patient's death. A level of A means great harm or death could have or has occurred. The fines to the facilities amounted to 

One nursing home was guilty of calling 911 and failing to stay with the patient until paramedics arrived. The patient was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. Two other patients were allowed to develop pressure sores. The families were not notified of the sores. For more, read the story.
