One nursing home’s numerous pending lawsuits has caused concern for one woman, which ultimately led to remove her demented mother from the facility. Among the lawsuits’ claims include negligence, medication errors leading to overdose, and wrongful death. According to an interview with the woman, she made claims her mother was also not receiving the care and attention she deserved at the facility. When she learned of the pending lawsuits, she made the call to remove her mother.
“I was pretty excited about bringing my mother [to this nursing home],” the woman stated in an interview. She continued to state that excitement quickly turned into concern and disappointment.
