Nursing Home Fined $90,000 For Resident’s Fall, Death

A nursing
home has received the most severe penalty under its state law after an
investigation concluded that inadequate care led to the death of a
resident.

The nursing facility received a “AA” citation and a $90,000 fine from the
state.

The facility failed to implement a plan of
care to prevent a resident’s injury. A fall resulted in complications
