Nursing Home Fined For Immediate Jeopardy Of Patients

A nursing home has been fined for placing patients in immediate jeopardy based on failure to administer medication to patients suffering from epilepsy, heart arrhythmia, and blood infections among other issues.  A series of investigations led to the immediate jeopardy calling.  The fines were assessed at $12,740. 

After a few days, the immediate jeopardy calling was lifted. It was concluded that three patients could have died or suffered serious injury due to their lack of medication. For more, read the story
