Nursing Home Former Employee Charged After Patient Dies From Abuse Injuries

A nursing home patient was taken to the hospital with injuries to his face and neck. It appeared he had been beaten and choked based on bruising on his neck and face. The patient died just weeks after being treated for his injuries.

Based on the patient’s injuries, a former nursing home employee is facing battery charges. The former employee will appear for a preliminary hearing based on one count of aggravated battery of a senior citizen. For more, read the story.
