Nursing Home Halloween Contest Involves Four-Legged Friends

Nursing home patients enjoyed a costume contest, not for themselves to play dress-up, but for their furry friends. The patients enjoyed their presence and their cute outfits.

The top winner dressed as a pumpkin was offered treats. One of the dog contestant’s owners said, “it felt really good to be able to see the residents smile and to actually make them happy.” For more, read the story
