A nursing home patient has died at a nearby hospital. A nurse at the hospital noted that the patient showed signs of neglect upon admission. A police investigation is underway to identify the circumstances surrounding the death.
“This is considered a criminal matter and (Adult Protective Services) is assisting in the investigation,” said a spokesperson for the Family and Social Services Administration. The nursing home administration is denying any neglect occurred at their facility. For more, read the story.
