Nursing Home Lawsuit Cites Fall, Injuries

A lawsuit has been filed against a nursing home stating the home failed to provide adequate care and a safe environment to prevent falls for a patient at risk for falling. The patient tripped on electrical cords and oxygen lines causing her to fall. As a result of the fall, smthe patient suffered bone fractures of the face, traumatic brain injury, a neck fracture, and other injuries.

The nursing home's attorney is denying negligence. A settlement suit is scheduled with a judge. For more, read the story.
