A woman whose mother suffered medical complications while under the care of a nursing home is suing for damages. The woman who was a patient at the nursing home facility suffered a bowel obstruction resulting in medical expenses, anguish and pain. The daughter is suing for damages.
The lawsuit says the patient was neglected with lack of food, water, toileting and cleaning. The plaintiff says the nursing home’s actions consisted of reckless misconduct, negligence and violations of care regarding the patient. They also state the patient was withheld from care planning.
