Nursing Home Lawsuit Cites Wrongful Death And Staffing Shortages

The family of a loved one has filed a wrongful death lawsuit after a patient's death. The patient suffering from Alzheimer's died after being left in a bathtub for over eight hours. The lawsuit accuses the family of a failing to staff the facility properly to provide proper care for their loved one. 

“When there are not enough staff members to care for residents, it creates an environment where employees are trying to do too many things that they forget about putting a resident in a bathtub and end up leaving her there for over eight hours,” said the family's attorney. For more, read the story
