Nursing Home Lawsuit Filed For Patient's Injuries Sustained From Falls

A lawsuit has been filed against a nursing home for allowing a patient to suffer multiple fractures causing loss of mobility, including inability to walk or use her right arm. This incident follows three wrongful death lawsuits filed against the same nursing home care provider. The cause of the incidents at the facilities are being related to lack of staffing to provide proper care.

“[The patient] suffered multiple preventable falls including one which caused a fracture of her left arm, malnourishment leading to a weight loss of twenty-four pounds in under four months, all of which was fraudulently concealed by the defendants from [the patient]’s family and legal representative which directly contributed to the occurrence and worsening of [the patient]’s injuries,” as stated in the plaintiff’s complaint.
