Nursing Home Medication Theft Leads To Arrest, Charges

A former nursing home staff member was arrested and charged with second degree theft of property. The man had been stealing drugs from the facility when a different staff member noticed medical records and drugs were missing. The former employee turned himself in and evidence of the theft was later identified on a security camera.  

An investigation ensued, leading to the arrest and charges. The stolen medication was identified as hydrocodone making it a second class degree. The sentence holds a possible consequence of 1 to 10 years in prison. The former employee was released on $10,000 bond. For more, read the story.
