A former director of rehabilitation services continues to bring music to nursing homes at the age of 80. For years, he has been bringing joy to the patients. Some patients make specific requests that he will learn and bring back when he comes the next month.
For some, it’s the reason they get out of bed. “Some of them are tied to their chairs to keep them from falling out, but you know what they’re going through” Goodman said. “If you look at their lips, sometimes you see them singing along.” For more, read the story.
