Four facilities were fined for nursing home neglect based on incidents cited by state health departments. The incidents involved patients that were cut, assaulted by other residents, and untreated after being hurt. Another patient was turned roughly, by a nursing aid allowing his arm to hit a chair.
Still another patient fell out of a lift and was hurt. The facilities were each fined a minimum of $1,000 for the incidents that took place at their facilities. For more, read the story.
