A nursing home nurse is facing charges of neglect of a patient. The nurse took the patient to that bathroom, placed her on the toilet and left her there. Upon her return, the patient was in the floor. Rather than report the incident, the nurse put the patient back in her wheelchair.
It was not until other nursing staff noticed the patient was seriously injured did she receive any help or proper reporting of the incident. The nurse faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000 if convicted. For more, read the story.
