Nursing Home Nurse Sentence To Prison For Patient Abuse

A nursing home nurse has been convicted of elder abuse of a patient. The nurse was accused of pinching a patient's ear and making the patient hit herself in the face. The nurse also pushed the patient's head down during the incident. 

The nurse pleaded guilty to felony cruelty to an elder person and misdemeanor simple battery of an elderly person. In addition to 20 years of prison with 5 years to serve, the nurse had her license revoked. For more, read the story
