Nursing Home Offers Candy To Children For Halloween

Nursing home patients are participating in Halloween festivities by offering candy to children who come to trick or treat. Seniors in the facility hope to have fun and to interact with the young people. The event is a prelude to the full experience of trick or treating on Halloween. The patients are inviting children the day before Halloween to enjoy some extra candy and smiles.

“The residents really enjoy seeing the kids come in. They enjoy seeing them in their costumes. There’s interaction, the kids love it as well,” said the facility’s marketing director. “There’s a lot of interaction between our seniors and the kids coming out.” For more, read the story
