Nursing Home On Probation For Not Reporting Abuse Allegations

A nursing home is on probation for not reporting an allegation of abuse towards a patient within the required timeframe. Since they did not follow protocol, the nursing home is currently allowed to admit patients. Adult Protective Services completed an investigation about the abuse.

The allegation was not reported because upper management did not receive the report until after the deadline. At least two people have been turned away during the probation. For more, read the story.
