Nursing Home Owner Faces Involuntary Manslaughter Charges for Deadly Bedsores

A residential care facility owner is now facing charges of involuntary manslaughter after neglecting the bedsores of an 88-year-old woman in her care, which ultimately led to her death. The caregiver had a history of 40 Type A violations since 1996. Type A violations are considered the most serious according to state regulations.
