A nursing home facility will open with the same owners that closed another facility under the turmoil of “doll abuse” towards dementia patients. Two employees of the facility were banned from ever working with vulnerable people or children after being jailed for their actions. The facility closed after being investigated and branded “inadequate”.
Whistleblowers unearthed other concerns of abuse and neglect of the patients at the facility. Despite the accusations and closing of the facility, a new facility is set to open on the same premises by the same owner. For more, read the story.
