A nursing home patient has been arrested for sexually assaulting another patient. The 69-year-old male patient was caught assaulting a female 60-year-old patient. The patient had a previous record of criminal history for intoxication and disrupting the public, among other charges.
Unfortunately, sexual abuse cases are increasing in nursing homes as one of the most common types of abuse. In the state where this incident occurred, reported incidents have gone up 8% in two years.
